Canvas Mosaics, art-making workshop!

Come have fun making canvas-mosaic art!  

Instead of ceramics, the colourful 'pieces' will be cut out shapes of canvas, and glued to a second canvas to create your art.  Various options for shapes and 'stencils by Sharon' will be on hand to choose from.  

Skills:  outline shapes from stencils to cut out, glue canvas pieces on canvas base, use of acrylic paint to add colour and playful embellishments of metallic paint or glitter paint/glue accents. 

Learn:  Different techniques will be discussed including back-filling with general shapes, texturing with sponges, creating a flow of squares in a sky, and more.  

Pick a "basic shape design" to complete in this 3 hour class, or choose a more challenging stencil to start with this class, and continue in next month's workshop (or at home).  You choose!! All art supplies will be provided.  

We will be in the craft room area of Janet's Bakery, Made With Love, so access to buy goodies are also on site!
